Privacy Policy

theorytestpractice.ie ("we") is an independent study tool for the Irish Driver Theory Test. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

What we collect

Without an account: your practice progress is stored only in your browser (localStorage). We don't see it.

With a Google account: we store your email address, name, your practice progress and mock exam results, so they sync across your devices. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth; we never see your Google password.

If you pay: payments are processed by Stripe. We store your payment status and plan. We never see or store your card details.

AI instructor: when you ask the AI about a question, your message and the question content are sent to Google's Vertex AI service to generate a reply. Don't include personal information in AI questions.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we don't show third-party ads, and we don't use tracking cookies beyond what sign-in strictly requires.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request a copy of your data or its deletion at any time — email hello@theorytestpractice.ie. Deleting your account removes your profile, progress and exam history.

Supabase (database & auth, EU region), Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting, EU), Google Cloud (AI responses).
