Question 179 · Car theory test
What should a driver do if they see horse riders on the road ahead?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
The driver should reduce speed, allow extra clearance, and pass with care.
Official explanation
You should always read the road ahead and be prepared to react to changing traffic situations. If you meet horses or other animals on the road, you should slow down and be prepared to stop. Don't use the horn or do anything that might frighten the animals. You must stop if directed to do so by the person in charge of animals.
