Question 425 · Car theory test
How can a driver help the environment?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
By reducing speed.
Official explanation
As a driver, you can do less damage to the environment if you drive smoothly and avoid harsh acceleration and braking. Vehicles travelling at 110 km/h use up to 30% more fuel than those travelling at 80 km/h. However, you should not drive so slowly as to inconvenience other road users.
