Question 560 · Car theory test
What can a driver do to stay alert on a long journey?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Stop, park in a safe place, and have a cup of coffee.
Official explanation
If a driver continues to drive fatigued in sleep, it can be the same as being over the drink-driving limit. Stopping the vehicle in a safe place, drinking caffeine, and taking a nap for 15 minutes will revive the driver, allowing them to continue for a short period.
