Question 580 · Car theory test
Which of the following is a possible consequence for a learner driver if they drive after drinking as little as just one unit of alcohol?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
A three-month disqualification from driving.
Official explanation
The blood alcohol concentration limit for novice/learner drivers is much lower than that of a driver who has held their full licence for more than two years and is not a novice driver. Therefore, as little as one unit of alcohol would result in the driver exceeding the lower limit.
