Before starting a journey with extra passengers or loads, drivers should check the air pressure, and when they inflate the tyres, they should increase the vehicle's tyre pressures in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's recommended tyre pressure. This information can be found in the vehicle manufacturer's handbook.
