Worn or improperly inflated tyres reduce the grip of your tyres on the road, with the result that your motorcycle may skid during an emergency stop. Routinely check the condition of your tyres and check that they are correctly inflated to ensure effective grip of the road. The minimum legal tread depth on a motorcycle tyre is 1 mm however make sure you replace tyres before they become this worn.
