Question 1903 · Truck theory test
Who is responsible for making sure that a truck’s load is secure before undertaking a journey?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
The driver of the truck.
Official explanation
It is the driver’s responsibility to know how a vehicle has been loaded and how the load has been secured. You should also check your load at regular intervals, as it may settle or move during the journey, thereby causing the straps or chains to loosen.
