Question 380 · Car theory test
What happens if the vehicle has a flat battery?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
The engine will not start.
Official explanation
All motor vehicles have a battery to supply power, primarily to start the engine. If the battery is flat, the driver will not be able to start the engine in the normal way. When the engine is running, it produces its own electricity to recharge the battery and run the various electrical components, including lights, heating, the radio, and so on. If the battery is completely dead, it will have to be replaced.
