Question 3111 · Motorcycle theory test
What road conditions might cause a rider to lose control of a motorcycle?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Mud on the road.
Official explanation
Motorcyclists are more likely to skid or lose control of their motorcycle in bad weather conditions, when road surfaces tend to be more slippery. They should be on the alert for wet surfaces, mud or gravel, and wet leaves on the road. These conditions will be more hazardous near bends or at junctions where they may need to brake, accelerate or change direction.
