Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Before changing lane.
Official explanation
A ‘life saver’ look is a look over the left or right shoulder to observe the blind spot area which is not covered by the mirrors. This should be done before the motorcyclist moves off, before changing position on the road, and before making a U-turn.
