Question 1070 · Truck theory test
Which tachograph records must be retained by the driver?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Records for the current day and the 28 calendar days immediately preceding that day.
Official explanation
The tachograph chart records a driver’s driving hours, vehicle speed, and distance covered. It is used to check that the driver takes at least the legal minimum amount of rest during the working day. The regulations require the driver to keep records for the current and the previous 28 days, and to produce them on demand.
