What should a driver do if their vehicle catches fire while driving?

If your vehicle catches fire whilst driving, stop as soon as it is safe to do so. Evacuate the vehicle with care for the occupants safety. Call emergency services. Do not open the engine compartment as the rush of air could fan the flames.
