Question 1345 · Truck theory test
When driving a large vehicle through a tunnel, what should a driver do?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
Official explanation
When entering a tunnel in a large vehicle, slow down and allow a 100-metre gap between your vehicle and the vehicle in front. Because of its size, your vehicle might make it more difficult for following traffic to see the road ahead.
