Question 1352 · Truck theory test
Before driving through a tunnel, what should a driver do?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Check that the height of the vehicle is less than the signed limit.
Official explanation
If your route takes you through a tunnel, you must make sure in advance that your vehicle does not exceed the height limit for the tunnel. Plan your route early because if your vehicle is higher than the limit displayed on the tunnel height-limit sign, you must take an alternative route.
