Question 1777 · Truck theory test
What effect does sharp braking have on a loosely secured load?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
The load tends to go to the front of the vehicle.
Official explanation
You must make sure that your load is safely and securely loaded. If you brake or change direction suddenly, an insecure load can shift or fall off, causing the vehicle to lose stability and creating a hazard for other road users.
