Driver Theory Test Centres in Ireland: Addresses & Eircodes

There are 40 Driver Theory Test centres in the Republic of Ireland, spread across 26 counties. Every one is run by Prometric on behalf of the Road Safety Authority (RSA). You can only book, reschedule or cancel a test on the official site, theorytest.ie. This page lists each centre with its full address and Eircode so you can check the location on your booking confirmation. We are a practice site and are not affiliated with Prometric or the RSA.

Before your test

Prometric asks you to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment for check-in. If you are late, or your ID is not accepted, you will not be allowed to sit the test and you lose the fee. Bring one original document from this list (photocopies and photos on your phone are not accepted):

The name on your booking must match the name on your ID exactly. Truck (C) and bus (D) candidates also need to show a full category B licence, or a current C or D learner permit or licence. Phones, smart watches and smart glasses go in a locker before you enter the test room. Staff use a security wand at check-in.
