Pagalbinės eismo juostos yra kai kuriose automagistralėse ir yra kairėje nuo pagrindinių automagistralės juostų. Jos sujungia kelią, iš kurio išvažiuojate, su kitu esamu išvažiavimu. Jei vairuotojas jau yra 1-oje automagistralės juostoje ir ketina išvažiuoti per kitą išvažiavimą, jis turėtų persirikiuoti į pagalbinę juostą. Pagalbinė juosta paprastai žymima brūkšnine balta linija juostos dešinėje, kurios žymėjimai yra trumpesni, arčiau vienas kito ir platesni nei brūkšninės baltos linijos, paprastai matomos 1, 2 ar 3 juostose.

Auxiliary lanes are found on some motorways and are to the left of the main motorway lanes. They link the off-ramp of the road you are leaving with the next available off-ramp or exit.
