Correct answer
In all situations.
Official explanation
Motorcyclists should always wear appropriate high-visibility protective clothing as well as their secured helmet when riding a motorcycle. High-visibility protective clothing is designed to make motorcyclists more visible to other road users and to protect them from adverse weather conditions. In addition protective clothing can help protect from injury in the event of a crash or fall. Further advice is available from section 16 of the Rules of the Road.
