Question 3024 · Motorcycle theory test
What position should a motorcyclist take up behind a vehicle they are about to overtake?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
The offside of the vehicle in front.
Official explanation
When you intend to overtake the vehicle in front, you should position your bike to the offside rear of the vehicle in front, leaving enough room to get a good view of the road ahead. You can then take the opportunity to overtake smoothly and safely.
