Question 3023 · Motorcycle theory test
In normal riding, what is the correct position on the road in marked lanes?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Midway between the nearside and the centre of the road.
Official explanation
The normal position is in the centre of the lane. On a single carriageway road with two-way traffic, the correct position is halfway between the centre of the road and the left-hand side. However, you should also take the width of the road, the condition of the road surface and any obstructions into consideration when riding.
