Question 3035 · Motorcycle theory test
What should a motorcyclist do if they get a sudden and severe puncture while riding?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Close the throttle and ease to a stop.
Official explanation
If you get a sudden and severe puncture while riding along, you should not brake suddenly as this would cause the bike to become more unstable. You should hold the handlebars firmly, ease off the throttle, and gradually bring the bike to a safe stop at the side of the road.
