Question 3065 · Motorcycle theory test
What should a motorcyclist do when travelling in fog?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Slow down, use dipped headlight and keep to the centre of the driving lane.
Official explanation
When travelling in fog, motorcyclists should use their dipped headlamp/s and maintain a position in the centre of their lane. Avoid using main beam headlamps as this will reduce visibility. Maintaining a central position allows the motorcyclist to better react to situations in low visibility conditions. Drive with extreme caution and be prepared to react and respond to changes in road or traffic conditions. In addition, motorcyclists should ensure that all lights are working at all times.
