Question 3130 · Motorcycle theory test
When a motorcyclist is cornering, what should they do?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Lean in the direction of the turn.
Official explanation
When you are cornering, you should lean towards the inside of the bend or curve. In this position, the force of gravity works to keep the bike stable. If you do not lean the bike into the curve or bend, its tendency is to continue in a straight line.
