Question 1094 · Truck theory test
The driver of a large vehicle needs to proceed straight ahead at a mini-roundabout at which there is limited space to manoeuvre. What should the driver do?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Where possible, negotiate the mini-roundabout in the same way as a normal roundabout.
Official explanation
Mini-roundabouts generally function as traffic calming measures. They do not always provide sufficient room for a large vehicle to negotiate them in the same way as a normal roundabout. The driver must evaluate the situation on approach and respond in a way that is appropriate for the size of their vehicle, while yielding as appropriate to other traffic.
