Question 3145 · Motorcycle theory test
What can a motorcyclist do to reduce the risk of skidding?
Pick an answer to test yourself.
Correct answer
Accelerate gently.
Official explanation
Excessive acceleration can cause the front wheel of the motorcycle to lift from the road or cause the rear wheel to spin. Each of these causes a loss of stability and may lead to the motorcycle going out of control or skidding. Always use gentle controlled acceleration.
